I was very lucky to be given a guided tour a few years back and saw all the dyer's herbs.  Really interesting, you will love seeing her plot.

And the rest of the site again.  It is pretty spectacular and there is always something new to learn.  Last year we were very impressed with many practical ideas, including Shirlton's way of training gooseberries.  Betty's plots are always full of lush and colourful veg and flowers.  Could somebody report on her amazing figs please? 

Really cut up that I can't make it this year.   Such a lovely bunch of people and the hostess and her helpers are special. 

I wish you all a fab time and will be thinking of you.  Hope the weather will be good.  Say hi to N. Norman too if he is there ;) and of course the felines, especially Calico aka Psycho.    

If anybody is looking for inspiration and for practical ideas, this is a first-rate place to come and learn.   

Yes, I definitely recommend it if you're on the fence about going! I had a lovely time last year and I'm sad I can't be there this year.

Everyone is really nice and it's so interesting seeing the allotments too. :)

I always find Walsall Road allotments a huge inspiration.

What time do we arrive?

I can't remember what time we started in the past, but how does 12.30 sound?

Our gates are open on Sunday mornings till 1pm so you can arrive whenever it's
convenient for you.  However, I do have to be at a meeting on site from 11:00
till about 11:45.

Do we still need name badges, or do we all know each other now?

Is anyone coming who hasn't been before?

I should hopefully be able to get there.

I am deffo.  Really enjoy the company,  walking round the site and of course the lovely food or rather should I say the lovey company in the first instance.
