I would love another get-together.  Two dates that would be ideal for me are Sunday 12th July or any day on the weekend of 18th/19th July.  John and I will be in Birmingham for a Diabetics forum group meeting on 11th July so we can once more bring our caravan and spend another week or so exploring the delights of Birmingham and the surrounding countryside.

Unfortunately, I will not be available if our meet is in June.  However, I have been fortunate enough to attend the two meetings we have held so far and don't want to dictate when we meet if the dates are not suitable to everyone else.

The 18/19th July would be perfect for me.  I have to escape the Fairford Airshow.  Hate the noise, with the Red Arrow and maybe two or three other display teams coming in the back door and out of the front.  For several days.  And putting coloured dye all over your washing.

The Diabetics group meeting that I was going to attend in Birmingham has now been moved to Saturday 18th!   

Sunday 19th though would now be a better date for John and I at Walsall Allotments but I suppose it really depends on whether Betty would be available on a Sunday and what the rest of you feel about it.

Having it on a Sunday would mean that Pescador could join us too.

Could you please confirm where you are?  For some reason, I thought you lived north west of Birmingham but looking on your profile, you seem to be in the south east near Solihull and just off the M42.  We were going to stay at a caravan site near Tamworth this year but if no-one else lives or passes by where you live, we could always pick you up and take you home.

My mother has 70'th birthday coming...and that date is very close to it..we've been warned that whole family lot may come over here to celebrate.. ..which would through some 'spanners' to the plan.
So...I'm kind of dangling here in back round until I know more what is going to happen.
I would much rather see allotments than play 'hotelier' for a week..

Thank you for your kind offer of a lift Pauline7.  Please don't be offended if I decline.  Looking at my profile I don't exactly know where they have put me but it looks nice - wouldn't mind living there.  I am just off J2 of M6 in a very built up area.  Don't worry I am adept with public transport - only trouble is the No: 11 is outer circle and it is not unknown for me to forget which way I am supposed to be going.
