Call that a garden!  Looks like a postage stamp compared to mine  ;D ;D ;D

Lovely bit of grass - glad I don't have to mow it  :)
I came, I saw, I composted

It's actually not my garden (shock!!) but a quite famous location - any ideas?

I was going to say Chatsworth.  It's that hill at the back which is suggestive of CH  :)

Not Chatsworth House is it Pete?
No, it's not Chatsworth House. It's a bit further north than that. If you look at the picture carefully there's an area cordoned off near the lake, possibly to keep souvenir hunters away!

Oh go on Pete, name and shame ;D
I am dying to know where it is. :)

Glad to hear it wasnt Chatsworth, as one of Mums favourite places we spent so much time there as kids and she would have never forgiven me if i hadn't recognised it, but it didnt look familiar to me.

OK, I'll put you out of your misery. It's Lyme Park near Disley in Cheshire.

The area near the lake is where the famous scene from 'Pride and Prejudice' was filmed when Darcy bumped into Elizabeth after he'd been for a swim. I was ordered to take a photo of my wife stood on this spot as it's probably the closest she'll ever get to Colin Frith (which is just as well considering!!)

That looks just like my house!
You can visit my humble abode if you like but let me know you're coming or I might release the hounds.

Never mind your house Pete, now i want to know about your avatar, is that the great MUFC?

petemason

It's Old Trafford yes but I'm afraid I wouldn't be seen dead there to watch Man Utd as I'm an Oldham fan. The pic was taken by my son at the England v Wales game. I think I'll change it.
