Aah.. Thank you. My baby robins :)
I can now reveal, I had this nest outside my back door, whilst not disturbing it I did keep and eye on the comings and goings!!
The day I took the photo was the 1st day they came out of the nest. Not sure if there were more than 2 babies but I found one at the front of the house, whilst I was unloading shopping from the car and it flew into my boot and sat in the door jam by the roof, good job I saw it!! The one in the photo was around the back of the house, by the nest. Not seen much of them since, hope they are doing ok.

Well done Jessands, very cute and  nicely caught :)

Nick, I voted for yours. I love the striking and vivid colour of it; it leapt out at me straight away :)

Well done all, great batch of piccies :)

Squash64

Well done Jessands, it's a lovely photo.
Once again, so many good ones and very difficult to choose one.

I though it was a great batch of pics but I voted for yours - very different form the rest!

Congratulations - this was my second choice, but unfortunately you can only vote for one and all were good.  Telling us a little about this bird really makes the photo even more special.

Likewise, hope they are doing well.  Probably they are now competent fliers and that is why you don't see them much.

Borlotti

Good winner, my second choice too. But I did love the red poppy too.  Nice photos.

Well done Jessands, well deserved  :icon_cheers:

My vote went to Sam, I was struggling to decide between a few photos, including the robin. Then I clicked on them to enlarge the view and was just so taken with the depth and just how much there was to see, it was almost like being there. I think one of the domes at Eden, absolutely cracking!

Lovely photo, Jessands, it was my first choice too. But I think my griffin vultures would have made short work of it! I took my photo in the mountains where a friend of ours, a retired butcher, puts
his butchering remains when he does some voluntarily for friends and neighbours.  It is a remote spot, but the vultures know his van and can see him coming from miles  away.  They arrive in a matter of seconds, a hundred or two hundred at a time.

Congratulations Jessands; what a lovely baby wren.

They were all very good pictures and was a very hard choice to make.  Well done everyone.
