 Is anyone else finding the site very slow?. I gave up yesterday & it is the same ths morning.

The server seems to be 'under high stress' for a lot of the time.  Can't get to 'replies to posts' or to 'new posts since last logged in'.  Also lost a couple of personal messages recently, because after the send button was pressed, the server was not responding and later only gave the 'back' option.  When this was pressed, all the text I had written was gone and I had to start typing the pm all over again.  Very frustrating!

Yesterday it took three tries to reply to a post...

Also a new thread I started yesterday is now on twice, I think I hit the post button twice!

No one can go out because of the weather so we're all on line 

Yes, it is a tad slow. The runup to Christmas puts a lot of providers under a bit of strain! We are probably losing out to a professional site that is sucking up our bandwidth!!!

Broadband went down last night, and I really missed checking any replies on this site.  Just found the number to ring, and looking forward (ha, ha) to long conversations that I can't understand what they are talking about, and it has come back for now.  Agree site a bit slow.  What with our exercise TV (ie keep losing picture so have to get up every 5 mins to bang it), did miss internet last night.  All blue lights on today, so hopefully OK now.

Yup - had the same issues... also today could not get the site to open at all for a while.

finally got the page to load - been trying since late last night - any moderators out there know where the problems lies?

Is your virus checker loading/updating , this can sloooo connections my avg can be annoying like that.

Seems to have improved now.

Still slow... I always check it against other sites I use so can work out if its my connection or the site... This site seems to have  a problem again...

I've had a tweak today which has improved things (a lot), but there still seems to be an issue.

I'll continue investigating ...

Funny, mine is running really well. Pages loading really fast, and I'm working on a hotspot, waiting for BT to connect Broadband.

Not like my Mac to be so efficient

I'm having probelms with Ravelry last 24hrs. Keep getting bad server response messages when trying to get to loads of pages

still slow here, tryed to get argos web sight page up but its the same  sloooooooow

I wonder if it's anything to do with the 'black friday' sales starting early online?

Is anyone else still having trouble with the site being sloooooow again or is it me.  It seems to take ages to do anything today.
