Looking for cardoon seeds (only need a few)- have variety of other seeds for swap if you are interested. This is for a school project for "growing tallest vegetable"!!!!

Hi, I've got some you can have. I bought them this year and there are loads in the packet. I've sown some but they are VERY large plants so don't really need these. And Ive still got lots left!!  ::)
As for swaps, I don't really need any more veg but might be interested in any unusual flowers you might have??!!

Cardoon seeds were free with Garden News recently I had never heard of it before then. I can`t find that particular copy.

Mine were not free  seeds but I bought them from the organic gardening co - I still have some left if anyone wants any.  ;D

Do you think they'd grow OK in Scotland? I've grown them in Kent, but only recently moved to a new area + still getting to grips with new climate (+ pests!!!).

If you think they would, I'd love some.

Diana, I've no idea as I have never grown them before myself, but our lottie neighbour grew them last year so thought we'd have a go. there's only one way to find out as they say so go for it. Pm me your details & I'll send them. Now re swaps - well I don't really know what I want till I see it ( sounds familiar to all you gals out there - yes?)
So tell me what you're offering.
But as I told Fleur I DO NOT really need ANY more seeds!! ;D 8)

Excited boy planted cardoon seeds today. He said he thinks his teacher won't know what it is.  I guess if they don't sell it in Tesco.....
