What is the eating cabbages?  Is it most likely to be slugs?  The red cabbages, broccoli, caulis have not been touched  ??? ???

Lost a whole row of cabbages to the blasted pigeons  :'(. and they were the only ones that weren't netted. Note to self get some more debris netting

We've even had the pigeons going under the netting this year, which they never used to do.

Have you checked the backs of leaves for caterpillars, and rows of maturing caterpillar eggs? I've had to scrap the eggs off before they get a chance to hatch. You'll only catch slugs and snails after sundown, which is fine if it's your back garden, but a bit of an ask if it means a hike to your allotment.
