Yes it is grim at the moment  :(

My spuds are OK but have have had a full smith period so won't hold my breath.

The courgettes look sick and just holding on.

Strawbs seem OK.

Tomatoes in flower but the leaves look sick.

Peas and runners just coming through........very late putting them in.

Not put anything else in yet....may not go in at all if this lasts.

I heard on our news yesterday that usually we have 99 days of sunshine by this date usually, so far we have had 41.

To me it seems here it started raing in late August last year and has hardly stopped, and before that we had rain until May.

It is like normal weather is rain with the occasional sunny day, and the really sad thing is that I now have a very strong feeling that this is how it is going to remain. It sounds silly but I can't shake the feeling.

We had a rainless day today and I couldn't get out as I am waiting in for a delivery, and the rain is on again for the next 6 days.

Our plan to day was to erect a shelter over our outisde tomatoes, we have the the hoops, the rebar and clios , the plastic and the clips for holdinbg the plasrtic on and we can't do the job for the rain.

It is very depressing.
