Allotments 4 All

  My Asparagus would have been 3 years this year had a few spears last year but resisted touching them and was sooo looking forward to them this year. Nothing there not a single thing the suddenly had this thought  told DH how nice this bed looked "Oh yes I gave it a good dig over the other day, when you wasn't here I noticed we had a lot of ferny stuff growing there last year"

  It's OK he is still alive !!!

  Oh well will try again this year!! At this rate I'll be 100 before I get my own   :)  :)

Oh nooo! I complain that my OH rarely helps me at the plot, but maybe it's better that way!

That's truly awful.

We too have asparagus in its third year.  The frost has just taken all the new shoots, but we may still get something a bit later on.

I sympathise.  My OH is very good at suddenly digging up 'weeds'.  I do the lottie alone.
