I might finally have found a proper job!
Im an ecologist which is often like acting becuase theres no profit really in it and so it can be long periods of temping and eating only eggs from the hens and the french bean glut whicih is why the summer is so much nicer than winter - theres yummy tomatoes and all sorts from the veg patch! but I'm starting a new ecologist job in St Helens on tuesday.
Its only 3 days a week to start but im so relived to be back on the road again. I'm already looking at the wellies in the catelogue!
At last maybe the tide has turned , wish me luck on tuesday that all will be well.

When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Happy for you, it's such a struggle, hope you'll have a good start and that it is the beginning of a career rather than just a part time job.  Good luck.

This sounds brilliant (if a little on the damp side) although the bats should be drier.  ;)

Let us know how you get on - it really sounds a great thing to be doing.
Here's wishing you lots of luck, (income) and enjoyment.  :)

2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
