Its bl***y cold brass monkey weather....-1.3c...got down to -5c last night but no snow or ice lying around. Dull sky and dry here in Preston Lancashire

We still have the snow.  and it is bitter.  Pavements are like icerinks here.  In town they are clear though and it is easier getting about.   More snow tomorrow .............. ah well ... :)

Still cold here with all the roads and most of the pavements clear, just some lazy feckers not clearing their fronts.      :(

All clear here but rain forcast for tonight and 4" of snow tomorrow good job rugby stadium has a roof  8) ;D ;D

Been snowing since 3.00pm here in Lincs!

Just started snowing here in North Herts which is a royal pain in the a**e as we have only just cleared the snow on the lottie to start clearing and digging :(  :'(

temp dropped sharply.  Every fire in the house on.  No prizes for where the cat is ;D ;D  No snow yet.

It's snowing here it not so sunny Enfield, but don't it is going to settle.  Cats in and asleep.

It's been snowing on and off in Derby since 4pm.  Also had hail and sleet.

Cats have been in most of the day  :)  They aren't that daft  ;D

Snow began at 9:30 Thursday evening but it feels warmer and looks lovely.

My father is worried about the snow - heavens knows why as he is unlikely to go out side until the temperatures lift to the high teens and I'm only across the road these days!!  ::)

He's gone to bed with the central heating set at 20 and the under-blanket on too.  :o

As Borlotti said, it was snowing lightly yesterday evening, there's a thin layer on the cars, grass and shrubbery but the roads and pavements look OK, I'm out to work soon so I'll find out.  ???

As you say it's settled but not on all of the paths and roads. I'm sure it feels warmer.

Light snow here but I think it is very slippery underneath it.  The first bit fell as rain onto frozen ground.

I always think that a layer of snow on the roof keeps the house nice and warm.

Started snowing whilst I was out last night - about an inch. Nightmare journey home through country lanes & my road has a short steep hill on a bend with parked cars leaving just enough room to get through, nearly slid into a car,stalled the engine & had the devils own job to get up the rest of the hill to go the final 100 yards to my driveway.
It looks very pretty out there this morning though with the sun just emerging!

 No snow here but Tony cannot get the ice off the car windows. Even with de icer. It's taken him ages to make it safe enough to drive. Its a hospital appt so he has to go.

About 3 to 5 cm of snow here in Lincolnshire. Time for some hot chocolate...

-3 at 6.05pm here in Lincs, going to be a cold night.  Snow and ice still on the ground, main roads are clear of snow, not very good under foot again, it will be worse tomorrow after it's frozen overnight!
