I haven't got much of my garlic harvest left now, but what I do have is starting to sprout. Is there anything I can do to stop this or to avoid it happening next year?

I havent grown much in the past but I find it looses taste and flavour so I just plant it when it sprouts like that..  even if its a bit late in the season you would still get something from it.
Now a member of the 10 Ton club.... (over 10 ton per acre)    2013  harvested 588 Kg from 165 sq mt..      see my web blog at...  http://www.gavinconway.net

It will sprout if there is a hint of moisture in the air. It has to be kept in dry air.

Mr Smith

All my Garlic is now well up apart from the  Spanish variety I came back from Spain with at Christmas which went in last week, I'm doing exactly what I did last year with planting out in October and I ended up with a good crop, :)
