Bodolph

Hi,

just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been lurking for a couple of weeks after stumbling across your fab site. I've had an allotment in Reading for about 18 months but what with starting a family it hasn't had quite the attention it deserved. This year is different! Big improvements and hopefully a bunch of helpful people here to stop me going off in the wrong direction!

Cheers

Bodolph

Welcome Bodolph......no need to lurk!!
You're certainly in the right place for lots of friendly advice - I've found it all invaluable since I got my plot last summer.  Good luck with this year's efforts

Hi Bodolph - yes starting a family interfers with all sorts of things. But when you get the little ones down the allotment and you all have a good time and you actually manage to get things done, then you will feel the best sense of satisfaction known to humankind - or is that just me?

Welcome anyway!!

Welcome Bodolph!  We had an allotment in Reading about 20 years ago when we lived down there.  It was in between Earley and Woodley.  We found it a great climate  for growing things and had a very productive lottie.  Good luck width yours.  :) busy_lizzie
