Our weeks forecast is for 27 degrees and no rain for 14 days so hopefully things will continue to ripen.

It was dark here at 8.45 pm last night

Surely September will be better than June, July and august.  Sick of the heavy cloud base, rain and more clouds.  I want to see some sun before the winter storms get going.

Sunshine would be welcomed but I'll skip the winter storms  ;)

One day was! Last couple of weeks have been quite dry here BUT a little sunshine and warmth to go with it would be bliss  :)
