Yes have bought one a few years back.  Whilst its ok for extracting long tap rooted weeds it really is a 'spot weeder'.  The hard rigid construction make it uncomfortable to use and you wouldnt want to weed a bed using it - any more than 7 dandelions and your hand, wrist and elbows would be feeling it.

Useful for tightly packed flower borders but a fork/spade is probbaly better at an allotment.

Best laid plans and all that

ah, sounds good to me, our new plot isn't too bad but there are a few dandelions coming up, not in the raised beds but in the 2 we have left flat  :)

I bought one in March and use it for everything!!!  And this is a brand new plot, all it has is weeds.  Only problem is one of the things I use it for is for digging out and levering up bramble knots, and I managed to break the blade.  Now I need a new one immediately and they don't have them at my local Lidl's.  Anyone seen one at another national chain??
