Allotments 4 All

I planted my potatoes on the  5th march, and hope to harvest on the 11th june.
when did you plant and whats your harvest date.

I put in the first spuds on 27 February and I will probably start getting the new potatoes in a week or so. So exciting! Last year I got good spuds on June 1, but this year they have done much better and are flowering so I think I can chance an earlier harvest. I only dig up 2 or 3 plants at a time so I will be digging up the earlies until well into June. Then will be time for the seconds!

had 8 home guard from the hot bed yesterday, planted 20th feb under a cloche, took 8 from the red duke of york today for mum in law's treat, planted outside, under fleece 27th feb  :)

14th February (a week later that last year)  now in flower so going to try them tomorrow.
