Sitting here at 10 pm with only 3 other folks on the forum,  I sure feel isolated.

I guess you early risers are just getting up while I am winding up.

I miss out on so much fun now when I am 8 hours adrift.

Aaah ..sniff sniff.

Aww, Jeannine don't be lonely! guess there would be more people around when it's early morning for you and late afternoon for us, but maybe that's not the best time for you. :(

To make you less lonely, Jeannine - youngest + her youngest just back from skiing in Whistler.

And a couple of years ago she, & elder sister flew up to Vancouver for lunch from Cousins in Burien, US.

Ahhh, but it is exactly the same the other way round.  I guess your lunchtime and our evening would be a better time overlap? - well at least on rainy days when you are not out gardening.

Don't feel lonely, please  :)

Jeannine

Oh bless your hearts.

Tim, so lovely to hear from you,I just love that picture.

Plainleaf, thst is very kind of you. Your book title sounds  great, really exciting for you.  Do you have any further details. publication date or anything. Who is putting it our for you. I know it is a very big job and takes a long time to get everything ready, sadly too much for me anymore I think..well we live in hopes I guess.I am still trying my squash one, but it is truly at a standstill and I should have updated a couple of other things but can't find the interest it needs. You have done great.

Caroline, Galina, yes the time thing is a brat.. especially when you folks are surrounded by sunshine and on your plots and here we are in perpetual rain. BUT NOT TODAY... the sun is oiut and the rain hass gonem so we are off to the plot in little while. Maybe we can plant the rice. ha ha.. Ot at least feed the woild ducks that are swimming on our plots.

1066, you look after those Shasta plants now, I promised you that you would get great caulis from them.. I shall expect that to come true, they have never let me down whenb everythibf else did.

Last night when I was online it looked like I answered every question as there was only me there, I felt like a forum hog.

Thankd guys, I owe a couple of PMs.

Well I was at work for a 12 hour shift all yesterday, came home knackered and was in bed for 10pm, up wide awake at 04.30 this morning, hence being online now all on my lonesome! Altogether now, ahhhhh! Oh hang on, Jeaninne, you are online as well! Morning! ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I'll definitely be looking after those seeds Jeannine! For me swaped seeds are far more precious than bought  :) Anyway, I've only sowed a few so I can do some more later. When would the last sowing date be for them?

A friend of mine was went to work in Vancouver said the 1st thing she bought when she got there was a good pair of wellies! I hear it's the rainy city  ;)  :)
