Having been silly enough to think I was just getting on top of things, I've been rather ill the past 3 days so am now behind again! Hopefully will be able to visit the plot in a few days when my stomach settles down sufficiently....... :-\
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

manicscousers

planted more kohl rabi, beetroot. earthed up the 'smile' spuds. transplanted the red salad, more celeriac, lots of anthirrinums, cuttings of dicentra and tied in and pinched out most of the sweet peas in buckets for the plant sale, coming along nicely  ;D

nuthatch

We have had our plot seven years now. We took it on in April and was early May before we planted or sowed any thing. We knew nothing and broke all the rules but it still remains our best and most prolific year yet. So I am behind but refuse to panic." The difference between a good gardener and a great gardener is two weeks"

Crystalmoon

Finally got 3 types of spuds in & sown my raised beds with various salad leaves/lettuces, mispoona, beetroot, turnip, parsnip, radish. Phew! had a very busy Mother's day at my plot ;D

brownowl23

have people got peas and beans outside yet as in growing up nets. Ive got some that need to go out but dont want to put them out yet as I dont want to then find I lose them. Im in the sunny south.

I planted out my first early peas nearly 2 weeks ago (in the north west) so you should be ok but if not sure then harden them off for awhile - also sown one lot of maincrop outside in situ - april can be a cruel month but you just have to keep an eye on things - beans not though, haven't even sown them yet

Gadget

roosters and pentland javelins in,
raspberries cut back, pulling rhubarb (boy that stuff grows quick)
red baron, centurian onions in as is my marco garlic.
BBeans, Rbeans and sweetpeas in pots just about to germinate (bit like a school project in my place :))
Sage, Rosemary, thyme, majoram and chives all planted
2 Dwarf Damsen Merryweathers planted...

Shed - still leaning against the wall  :(

goodlife

I've got some drawf beans just germinating in GH..bucket crop to get some early :P Those that go outdoors I'm not sowing for weeks yet.
First strawberries are just flowering ;D ;D..again, in GH..

pigeonseed

I've sown some French beans, not sure whether they'll be small enough to stay in a cloche till the seaside breeze warms up, but I got impatient. I certainly wouldn't put French or runners outside yet! Brrrrr!

cornykev
