i think its a bit wet and early for them to go in so im keeping them in the fridge will it damage them this way or is the shed a better place

Not to sure the fridge is the place for them ,you don,t want them to start shooting before yoy plant them out. A cool dark area  I think would suit them best  I can plant out in march  but i keep them coverd with a fleece some one will put you on the right track

My shallots went in Friday.    :P :P :P

They won't come to any harm if you put them straight out.

ours went in today  :)

Plant the shallots now through to mid March,  and the onions mid March through to mid April.
