Cold, but no sign of the frost this morning.     ;D ;D ;D

Just across in Gloucestershire we are obviously having a heatwave it was -5c last night.  It has not gone above freezing since Friday and the ground has been solid for days now.

Who turned off the heat?  What happened to global warming?  I cannot remember voting for all this cold weather.  Bring back Gordon it was much warmer with him in charge. ;D

My towels are now nice and fluffy after being freeze dried.

Snow showers most of the day but not settled yet.         ;D ;D ;D

Snow here on and off all day... some settled and it looks set to continue overnight...  :-X

Chrispy

Woke up to a light covering of snow here is the SE.
It has continued all day, and it is now about 1 1/2 inch and it is quite slippery under foot for my trip down the hill to the post office.
If there's nothing wrong with me, maybe there's something wrong with the universe!

cornykev

Proper brass monkeys today, but no snow.    ;D ;D ;D

No snow just -2 all day and the missus has got through half a load of logs ;D ;D ;D

galina

Merrily snowing away and adding more to the couple of inches we got a few days ago.  Very icy.  Strangely some leaves and apples are still hanging high up on the trees, or they are frozen on?  Perishing cold too and a nasty wind.

Froglegs

Been snowing on and off in Notts all day.

Ninnyscrops.

Still coming down in West Sussex tonight :(

That's awful, how are you coping?  Are you able to get out?  Our temperatures and snow are nothing like yours but I'm too scared to drive.

My car has been buried for about a week now and the street is virtually impassible unless you have a 4 x 4 or winter tyres, however the main road is only about 5 minutes' walk/slide away and once you get there the buses are running.  I managed to get to Kirkcaldy yesterday, although I waited over an hour in the railway station watching one train after another being cancelled. Finally got one though!

Poppy Mole

Still 8 inches of snow, but minus 5.7 positively warm by others standards

It makes me smile when we are in Sicily in the winter and the weather is so warm for us, but the locals are wearing thick coats, hats and scarves.

A few years ago there was a brief snowfall in my husband's town and everyone rushed out to take photos. :)
