Allotments 4 All

My postie has just arrived while I was on line with a parcel from England. I am totally choked and for once completely lost for words but I will try..

Some of you may remember several weeks ago I was asking for help with a new trowel, you all sent me some great ideas and among them was a link to a company that sold copper ones..oh to die for.. I ummed and aaghed and finally decided no.. it was an indulgence.

Today I opened the  parcel and inside is a copper trowel with a matching fork, no name of sender, it came straight from the company with a note that said..

                                                                     To Jeannine and John

                                        We know you love to give,but thought it would be lovely for you to receive

                                                                        With love ,enjoy X




I don't know what to say, they are of course beautiful and unlikely  will ever get dirty, John wants to hang them on the wall.

I don't know who organised this and truly am choked.. but thank you and thank you a million times more
The caring and generosity of the folks on A4A never ceases to amaze me. This a wonderful gift and made especially  good as it is one of those things that one rarely justifies buying for ones self.

Words are not enough, suffice to say you have touched my heart in a big way and I shall treasure them always.

I think you should use them. One of my friends doesn't believe in best china, cutlery or glass. Shes uses her best for everyday use. She always says she cant use it when she is ten foot under. She wants to use it now. :)

You must use them, copper tools are supposed to be the ultimate.  Being non magnetic they are supposed to aid the natural earth energies. 

Jeannine, you MUST use them, I think the people that sent you these, sent them to you for you to use.
