Some of our Indian plotholders called me to take a photo of their scarecrows today.  I don't know what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting the Elephant Man and his wife!  I couldn't stop laughing and they were the same.  They've even put a bindi mark on the wife's forehead.
Unfortunately they have done them too late for the competition, which was judged yesterday.

Here they are, Mr and Mrs Elephant Man

I think this such a neat idea, I wonder if it would fly here XX Jeannine
When God blesses you with a multitude of seeds double  the blessing by sharing your  seeds with other folks.

Spudbash

Could that pair really frighten the birds? They're the cuddliest scarecrows I've ever seen!  ;D

Squash several people have remarked that he bears a striking resemblance to my OH.                                                                                                                 I'm saying nothing ;)

After seeing Bettys handiwork I just had to have a go. When it was finished Tony and I decicded that it looked too much like the bloke over the road so we had to take it out with a bin bag over its head.
BTW his names Bert
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Squash64

It's Scarecrow Smith's long-lost brother Shirl!  Why don't you put him on SS's page on Facebook?
I love him, he looks really grumpy!

Those are all a scream.  It gave me the idea this might be a fun project to do with a grandchild.

Shirl, yours has  a beautiful garden to sit in. What a great picture!
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

macmac

Shirl he's fab and what a lovely photo.
When we took our "Sam"down the lottie we put him in the back seat of the car for a couple of hours 'kept the neighbours amused  :)
