Nothing is ever as it seems. With appropriate equations I can prove this.

No rain in Warwickshire yet. I could enter Mr Universe with the muscles I am developing from lugging watering cans.

It is raining proper rain here in North Manchester. Can't believe it, keep going outside, how sad it that. I had become very stressed. A garden and veg plot should be a pleasure at this time of year but I have nearly postponed our holiday so that I can water etc. We are off tomorrow for 4 days I will let nature take its course. No doubt the slugs and snails will be delighted. Don't care!!!
Hi I'm from Heywood, Lancashire

It rained overnight here on the edge of Salisbury Plain.  It wasn't forecast so I am feeling very pleased and relieved.

Had some lovely rain here in Norfolk this morning, and still got some clouds! Hooray, I have been watering morning and evening to keep seedlings alive. May get a rest at last.

We had what I thought was proper rain first thing, but it didn't last long and already the ground looks dry.

Thought we had a lot of rain last night but after another hot day today it's still not enough!

Digeroo

Please could you send it here.  We had a very very light shower last night just enough to join up the spots but not one drop more.  Nothing got to the water butt from the roof, moss had it all.

Now there is hot and dry wind just like a hair drier.  Did some washing and by the time the second load was finished they first lot was dry enough to wear.  Plants are starting to droop even those that have been watered.
