I watch the games with the sound turned off, it means I can't hear the awful whining noises.

Still watching the football.
What an awful noise, gets to us too....spoils the atmosphere of the matches.
Also have had to turn sound off because our little dog Jake got very worried cos he thought it was bees and went and hid in his bed.
So sound is definitely a no go in our house.

has any one else noticed a england game is a idea time to drive anywhere? you have to be carefull not to leave too early as the white n red flag brigade are too busy rushing home to the match to care about their driving. I am going on the M5 tomorrow morning and am hoping that not a lot of peeps will be heading down for a day out and that it will be quiet on the wayback north while the match is on

theothermarg. Quite agree, it was a pleasure to drive to Enfield yesterday (approx 2 hour journey) very little traffic on the A1. Guess we chose the right day lol

My OH has spent the last month watching every available game on TV - and that's a lot cos we get Belgian, French etc TV as well as the BBC - plus every golf tournament going and quite a bit of tennis.

This morning, while discussing plans for a future BBQ via email, he confesses to a friend that he has wasted a lot of time watching a disappointing World Cup.  What's the betting he doesn't remember that next time round and watses just as much time again?

Still, at least now I should get more gardening time out of him and there are some jobs only he can do.

It wasn't the best world cup, but 240 smackers in my sky rocket made me a happy bunny last night.    8)        ;D ;D ;D    :P   :-*
