Hi Laura and Clive congratualtions on getting your plot and welcome to A4A. There's tons of info on here and feel free to ask, there's also a Wikki button on the home page which has links to loads of useful stuff, blogs etc

I've had my plot for over a couple of years and still manage to have my blonde moments  ;)

Well, they're going to have to actually write instructions on the packets rather than general diagrams if they want me to be able to grow sensibly!! Stoopid manufacturers. Aren't they supposed to assume all customers are dumb, and those that know what they're doing can ignore the instructions  ;D

Thanks for the welcome, am off to investigate the Wikki button.

Laura :)

Veggietating

Hi,  just got my plot, only waited 11 months, which seems quite good compared to many.

Nursted Lane, Longfield Hill, Kent.

A nice bramble patch to work up a sweat on  :-\  bit out of practice, its been nearly 10 years since I last had an allotment.

Seabea

Hello there.  I'm a newbie and have been getting help on the Basics Forum.  Like a few others on here, I also have an allotment in Hastings, 1066 country.  Mine is at Paul's Field.

Nice to meet you SeaBea  :)
There's a few of us in Hastings and St Leonards on here, but I don't think there is anyone from Paul's Field  ;D

Oh me! I am on Paul's Field! I'm on the top field near the shed that looks like a swiss chalet.

I won't be able to talk about people from the site now  :(  ;D  ;D

Yes I wouldn't mind a shed like that. But if it was mine I might go into twee overdrive and paint it different colours and put up curtains or something!

So maybe it's a good thing it's not...   ;D
