If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Our next Open Day at Littleover Lane Allotments in Derby is on Sunday June 6th, we are also having an early plant sale on 9th May (without the allotments being open or food) to sell early tomatoes and bedding, as most people seem to buy those earlier than June.  ;D

Right....OH is talked over for a little vitsit to Coton Manor...I think when I mentioned about pizzas and that there is plenty of birds to see as well....did the trick  ;)...so I'll be off and will report the place later on for you ;D

I've been there! ;D ;D..Pizzas were wonderfull..just a tad too small ::) Nursery to die for..so much variety..most of it perennials..but well looked after and lots of varieties that are not so commonly available in garden centres..a bit pricey..but expected..garden really nice..lots of different areas..not too "clean"; nature has plenty of saying what grows were and no straight rows..odd weed too ;D
And they got couple of longish hair pigs..aww..I want one ::)..nicely digging and grunting along in orchard  ;DPlenty of chickens and dugs walking all over..few flamingo's which let you right close to them to have a good look..who looked who ::)
But tje "star of the show" was the bluebell wood..ohhh..soo beautiful...it wasn't in full bloom quite yet..but still..and we were there before crouds..so it was lovely and quiet..magic!
Only thing that I was missing to see....veg!...none! Plenty of fruit trees ;D
And I would have loved to see into greenhouses and other utility areas..but you never get to see those areas anyway ::)..just to see how they do things..
