Allotments 4 All

Hi - I've got quite a lot more seed than  can reasonably use - seeds of Italy packs ridiculously large.
Would anyone like to share?

No need to offer anything in return, but if you have got any green cucumber seed (outdoor variety) that would be lovely plus I would love any flowering seeds/cuttings if anyone has anything going spare.

On offer:
- Zuchetta rugosa Friuliana - warty yellow courgette, from Italy
- zuchino tondo di Piacenza - round green courgette also Italian
- heritage cucumber 'white wonder' - white cuke
- basil seed - another seeds of Italy one

Don't let these go to waste!

Yes and no! I am tempted, but I have limited space, and am already growing 4 types. Thanks for the offer though!

I would love some of your Zuchetta Rugosa Friulana please - it is a fantastic variety!

I can send you some cucumber seeds which a neighbour brought from Barbados.  I have grown them outdoors and they do really well but the cucumbers are the small sort, my husband prefers them to the 'normal' ones.
I also have various flower seeds most of which need starting off indoors, are these the type you want?

I have some spare Marketmore if you'd like to try those? I gres them in pots on the patio last summer, I'm going to try them in the ground up at the plot this year.

Not much on the flower front except Tagetes - starfire (I think that's the name), still trying to build my flower seeds up a bit  :)

I would like to try a couple of the cukes, if you don't mind. I'll PM you.  And I'd better not do any flower seeds which need to be started off indoors. I have done some this year (normally too impatient) but I'm all out of window-sill now! But thank you for the very kind offer.

1066 - hello neighbour! I'll send you the white cucumber. I can't remember if you've ever sent me your address - can you pm it to me? I won't take any flower seeds off you! It sounds like you're in my position! I could share some with you which I do have - I've got quite a lot of carmine pink lychnis coronaria coming up, and I could dig you some up for you. They self-seed really well, so it's no problem. would you like them?

Kids away on a sleepover...so we got out last night and I foolishly thought "a long lie"...nope a tractior pulled up outside bedroom window and shouted "oi"...hubby had arranged surprise of new fencing/posts being delivered....no rest for the wicked :)
