Hi,

we have 2 maine coon cats, Arthur and Nelson, and Nelson can play fetch with a bit of sheepskin.
I filmed it and it's quite funny!

can your cat do that?

That's great!  Ours did when they were kittens, but not any more.  :( :(

YEP! And my Russian Blue wasn't a kitty either - except at heart ;D It was a ball of tinfoil we'd play with.

Lovely vid. Maine Coons are really special, aren't they? What decided you to have that breed.gf?

I've always had cats but these cats are the first pure breed we've owned.

We chose maine coon because my OH wanted a dog and I wanted a cat (cats are better and less demanding), maine coon are a bit like dogs in catskin. They like water and spend a lot of time in the sink!
they are very playful and talkative and really like company, not to mention their large size! (the fat one is 9kg, the skinny one one the video is 6kg).
I want more of them and more time to play with them :) :)

Wonderful!  ;D  I don't think the thought of fetch ever entered any of my cats heads  :D

Soo sweet! A friends cat used to play fetch like this. Tobacco wrappers were her favorite. When she gave birth to 7 kittens they all copied her. It was hilarious to watch, especially if you threw the missile over an armchair or settee as the mother would leap and the kittens would chase her, scrabbling up the back of it.
