Allotments 4 All

Any errors are probably because I've just come back from the winter beer festival, I've just resigned as treasurer after about a decade over some pointless issue.... so I doubt the Open days and plant sales will happen..

Confused of Essex here, If you've been to a beer festival how does that affect the plant sale etc. or do I need  a glass or two of wine to understand Saddad?

The beer festival is responsible fro typo's... my resignation affects the plant sales.......  :-X

Oh bugger. Wont anyone else step into the breech or can you be persuaded to return? Do you want to sleep on it?(beer can help/cause that ;D)

I know how you feel. I'm responsible for the property at my local Methodist Church, among other things, and I get nothing but carping, criticism and attempts to undermine me from certain people.

Noooo! It would be a real shame if the open days and sales stopped, but stick to your guns if you've had enough! Then they'll realise what they are missing.

I hope it all works out for you your site is massive compared to ours   17 plots in a space for 4 full sized ones   the same people do all the work  then somebody who only comes to the plot every 4 weeks comments on what should have been done......
for the last 3 years i have quit the chairmanship  but then get talked around....and off
we go again   this year to protect my sanity and energy   i'm delegating heavily

your to valuable a person to give up your influence  is it a disagreement with all the committee  or just an obstructive  member      your site would be better off if they left     

Knowing the entheusiasm that you have concerning the plant sales and other stuff you do on you allotment site then it must have been something really hard hitting to make you give up. I remember you at last years plant sale standing out there in the rain all on your own in case someone wanted to buy something. I bet the others won't be so keen

Thank you for the encouragement. It's basically a disagreement between an inward or an outward looking society. Time will tell. I'm not looking aftyer the big greenhouse so if they run the Open Days I reckon the plant sales will be much smaller.  :-X

Does this mean that there won't be any more of those plugs on here for open days with amazing plants on sale ?!  ::)  :o  :P
Hope things work out for you Saddad. Maybe this will mean a bit more time for you and Mrs Saddad to enjoy the plot!

If they are running it I will still plug it... but I reckon the range will be more restricted, unless they can con DebP into doing all the work...  ;D
