Tim. Wish I could find something to tickle my taste buds, since New Year (flu) I have no appetite, have tried so many things, only consolation is I think I have lost weight!!!

All very appetising until you read the small print.  Yeuk ;D

If you lived in the Midlands (Derby, Ashbourne, Burton upon Trenty, Uttoxeter) all have branches of Bird's cake shops.  They do the most fantastic fresh cream cakes, but their piece de resistance is the cream puff (also known locally as an elephant's foot).  They are really large, but most importantly, delicious.

I was in Ashbourne today.  I wish I'd bought one.  I could just eat it now.  (emoticon for drool  ;D

Looking at that list of 'essential' additives to something as simple as a  shop-bought cream bun made with choux pastry is......horrendous :o

So.....did you go home and make your own, Tim? Or did the list put you off the idea completely...

Cruel Valmarg... I used to like Bird's before I became lactose intolerant....  :'(

The secret is to make your own, Tim, then you control the ingredients  ;)
