Forecasters have warned of flash flooding as Britons brace themselves for the latest phase of winter weather chaos.
Warnings of flash floods as big freeze melts
Flooding expected as Britain melts
Threat of floods adds to winter woes 
While the snow flurries were moving north up to Scotland, temperatures were expected to rise across the rest of the UK.

im at the side of the ribble, the last plot flood left  a 12lb sallmon  on his plot, not mine though

If we get a weather pattern like this in summer, then yes, we'll have it hot and fairly dry.

No its not a joke and I think you mean London Road years ago I raced whippets on Fishwick Bottoms,
