Currently called Pumbaa but I think he will be far too elegant for that when he's full grown! His siblings are all silver tabbies and I was very tempted by them too!

Oops forgot to say: he is a semi-longhaired british blue, about 8 weeks old and he will be mine in 5 weeks. 8) 8)

Sparkly

Awwwww amazing!

I live fluffy kittens, infact all kittens and cats!

Sholls

Aww, I want one. (I've been trying to resist the temptation to visit the dog & cat home for weeks. ;) )

He really is gorgeous.

coznbob

Am so jealous, really want a cat again :'(
Smile at your enemies.

It makes them wonder what you are up to.

aawwww cute kitty  :D Hard to belive they grow up to be right grumpy old so and so's isn't it  ;) (speaking from experience  of a male short haired blue / grey geezer :D)

So who named him? the owners?

grawrc

The breeder's family call him Pumbaa but I get to decide of course and also to choose his posh name for registration purposes.
And Betty ... shhhhh ... she's quietly chewing on her Xmas bone by my side and has no clue what's about to hit her! ;)

emmy1978

Oh he is just fabulous! I want one!!! I want two! He definately needs a more elegant name than Pumbaa as he was the warthog in the Lion King! How are you going to wait 5 weeks!! :)
Don't throw paper away. There is no away.

macmac

I'm not a cat lover I've always preferred dogs but Pumbaa could change my mind he's gorgeous :)
sanity is overated

Aahh. So what names do you have in mind and does A4A get to vote  ;D

I'm not a cat lover at all, and  long-haired ones usually look the most evil to me, but he is really cute!

Georgie

OMG how cute is that kitty?  I want one too.   ;D

Given how pleased you all seem to be by the pics, I think I might have made a wise choice!! ..although I've got a lot to learn about cat grooming since I've only had moggies before!

His breeder name is Torridonian and so far we've come up with:
Torridonian Island Magic
Torridonian Blue Meanie
Torridonian Kind of Magic
Torridonian Dark Knight
and
Torridonian Lord of the Dance
As to his real name (the one that he'll get called by us) I'm veering towards Chomsky. Have a look here to see why:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noam_Chomsky
For those that don't know  - my whole career life has been devoted to language, linguistics and psychology and Noam Chomsky is one of my heroes. Plus I just like the sound of it!

All suggestions gratefully received! ;)
Trouble is I barely know him so far but names grow to fit the persona. Gosh he ism lovely though isn't he? (OMG I'm suffering from proud mum syndrome!! :o :o)

betula

I like the name chomsky too. :)

Sholls

I chuckled when I read "Blue Meanie" (maybe it's an Edinburgh thing...  ??? ), so that option gets my vote. I like the irony; in my experience very few none of them are cute 'n' fluffy.  :D
