It's our 'Christmas Social' today.  I've made a massive pot of soup and there will also be crusty bread and mince pies.

We will draw the raffle - all proceeds are going to a local Cardiac Club.

Just hope the plotholders remember........

Well, it doesn't look as though we will be having much of a party today  :(

My path is so icy I can't even walk to the car, which is also frozen.  If I can't use the car, I can't take the soup.  I'm even worried about walking to the allotments because the pavements are frozen too.

Flighty, hope your party goes well and that you are not frozen like we are here.

Squash oh dear! Thanks, it's not too bad here and I can walk as the trading shed is just a few minutes away.

Betula thanks, and rest assured that I'll be well wrapped up when I venture out!  :)

Thanks Kev.  It went quite well, despite the weather.

He seemed to be enjoying himself anyway.

Squash I'm glad to see that it went okay, so did ours!  :)
After a very quiet start it got pretty crowded, most of the food got eaten and I didn't win anything on the raffle.

I didn't win on our raffle either.  (but there wasn't anything I would have wanted anyway  ;D)

I asked our oldest plotholder, 91 year old Albert to draw the first ticket and he drew his own!

Another man who had bought 8 tickets won 5 prizes.

We made £48 for the cardiac club.
