Cornwal is damp with the occasional sharp shower and very windy.  Wish it would dry up, my strawberry plants have arrived and I need to get em in!!

Apparently we had a mini-tornado in Derby at dinner time, I didn't see it but it was mentioned on the national (Radio 2) news...  :o

Also made the Radio 4 news !! David.

What was going on in Derby? The two tornadoes we've had in Birmingham since I've been here (one of them the worst ever recorded in Britain) were during severe thunderstorms.

This morning SUNSHINE between clouds yay :) oops turned around and its looking very dark almost black :(, hope its moving away :)

Amazing how quickly it can all change in the day

Metoffice forecast light snow for us this morning... no signs yet of it  :( it's just foggy and damp instead...

Apparently it was snowing on the Woodhead pass early this morning and also in the High peak, :)

Freezing cold in Staffs although the sun is shining.  8)

same here in Hartlepool- had to be careful on the black ice when walking round the sea front this morning in the sparkly sunshine.

Damp, dull, cold start in Notts

Warmer today, was cold last night playing a floodlight tennis match, outdoors from 7 pm till 9 pm.  Soon warmed up with my woolly hat and one glove and we won 3 sets out of 4.  Not bad for an 'old biddy'.  Must be mad, but no-one else wanted to play, I wonder why?

Cold, dull and a little bit breezy here too in S. Wales. Looking brighter towards the south west over the sea :)

Never mind the 'old biddy', not bad for anyone, can't understand no one wanting to play!
