Well  more of a pledge than a promise ...

You don't need to give any details, and pledges include driving more slowly & giving clothes to a charity shop.

There's a way to donate £1 to The Children's Society for free. Ecclesiastical Insurance is giving away £1 for every person who clicks a button to make a small promise.

Good idea.

But isn't it  a sad commentary of today's world when one of the pledges is: I will have our family eat at least 3 meals together each week.
