here is a pic of the beans now, one in muck and one in mp compost..the one in muck looks strange but, as they were not my bean seed, can't say too much..the kit from Dow arrived today, notice, no compost or saucers  ::)
so, will start the experiment with their beans on monday, just as well it's not groowing season proper  ???

I like your yellow pots! What does their kit consist of? Pots and beans?

manicscousers

yep, 8 pots and 32 bean seeds  ::)
says stand each pot in an individual saucer, will ahve to go buy some

grawrc

You could always phone/email them and say you didn't get the saucers? ;)

or nip down the charity shop and get some saucers from there

I was going to use the plastic meat trays my daughter gets but it's going to take some room up, may put them in the poly for a while  :)

tonybloke

they mean you should stand the two groups of four pots into two seperate trays, so as not to cross contaminate the two samples you are testing via the watering . ;)
You couldn't make it up!

manicscousers

no, tonybloke, the instructions say put each one in a separate saucer so they don't get contaminated  :o

I got mine today
I ordered two kits and i asked if i could have more as i was testing several new stables.
It would seem that you can have more than one kit so get asking.
Pots are giant for purpose. Will be very good for pumpkins and fast growers.

:) shame that all the manure i would have used to feed the beds to grow the pumpkins is contaminated by a greedy environmentaly hazzadous chemical company.
