Allotments 4 All

hi folks,got the call thursday morning,raced up to the plot to find ten greenhouses smashed to pieces,have seen the fuzz,got a skip for all the broken glass,came home and rang all the plotholders who suffered damage,just couldnt stand the thought of them seeing the vandalism without prior warning.
this is the first serious case since becoming sec (touch wood) and am feeling a bit helpless,but what else can i do? am already in the process of improving security by fundraising for higher railings,its a massive job and will prob cost 40 grand plus.

such a shame, elvis..our fencing only cost 7,000 altogether and it's such a long job  :-\

That's awful, Elvis. Don't suppose anyone had insurance?
