Woke up to rain but thankfully had sunshine by 10.30am for the opening of son's new premises. Light rain on and off but this evening heavy rain.  At the moment dog has her legs crossed, she won't go in the garden if it is raining hard. I may be late to bed tonight!!!!

Wet,Wet,Wet.
Sounds like a pop group not the weather.
My puppy has had her legs crossed for a while. But I said come on girl you can only get wet once. So we headed for the fields and guess what, a bolt of lighning hit in the field. Boy the thunder was loud. Poor old Winnie ran all the way home. Didn't even stop to weee.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

A beautiful day here in Enfield, washed all the net curtains, and a beautiful drying day, now just off to the lovely allotment to see what has grown in the night, could do with a few more courgettes.  ;D ;D ;D ;D  Perhaps not. That reminds me of an Armenian joke, hope I haven't told this before, but a servant girl was going to marry a rich man, and on a sunny day said what a beautiful washing/drying day, and obviously the engagement was off, as she shouldn't have known that, if she was rich and not a servant.  My Armenian friend and me laugh at that when we were are work and I said I wish I was at home because I could get all my washing dry, and she said that shows you don't have servants.  Ha ha.

She's bloody crackers, must be the Sun.    :P :P :P
But it was a lovely Sunny Day,  8) a good day for the carnival, voted second only to Rio three years running.  ???   :o     ;D ;D ;D

Yep! I was on the plot and digging a trench to bury broad bean roots nearly did me in!!

Robert_Brenchley

I just leave the roots where they are, and cut the stems down.

a cool start to the day, went out with the kids, got home with everyone baking hot and wilting, thank goodness i filled the paddling pool yesterday, the kids dived in to cool off :D.

it remained beautifully hot till sundown.

Yesterday I sat in searing heat on the north circular for 3 hours, today the washing's in and I plan to go plotward ...and of course it looks very overcast and feels like rain. ::)
