I have used  Dobies seeds  Sweetcorn, tomato plants and marrows, success rate not very good when compared to Thompson&Morgan, :)

Wyvale 50% off seeds now at my local branch.

They have been doing that for a while..I'm hanging out for the 50p per packet sale....used to be 25p a packet a year or so ago!

As for Dobies seeds sale, fingers in ears.....no,no, no, no, I musn't....! ;D

One year, Homebase put a bucket outside the door of the shop with all the seeds in it, and I think they were about 10p a packet.  I am getting better and I don't need anything at the moment, so please don't tell me about seed sales.  Still have £20 worth of vouchers for garden centres which I am saving.  The only thing I haven't got this year is yellow courgettes, just given some green ones to next door and some runner beans and run back into my house.  Last year they knew it was me and got 12 packets of crisps in return (for grandchildren).  We don't like crisps, but a nice thought. If I save the seeds from my sweetpeas will they be as good, or will the colours go back to pink and mauve.  Have had some lovely red, purple this year etc. etc.  Have already bought some seeds from pound shop, 2 packets for a pound.
