Mine have been tormenting me for weeks but nothing ready to pick yet   :(

Weirdly, my strawberries that came in plastic pots and went straight in the ground have loads of flowers and some fruit, but the ones that were in peat pots seem to have hardly grown. All planted at the same time and were the same size, can only assume that the peat pots are slowing down the root growth somehow.

And here it is along with a couple more.

Total First Harvest 125 grams from 4 strawberries.  ;D

That's what happens when I let my kids loose over my plot. Very few strawberries make it half way up the path let alone home.

beckydore

mine are still green at the moment.

Maybe they are too dry? I find peat pots tricky to keep just right (either too dry or too wet), maybe take them out of them ?
