Allotments 4 All

Actually, it's more of a "Hello....again" !

I've been a member of A4A for quite a long time, I just haven't posted on here for years !

I've been around various messageboards and I have seen 1 or 2 names I recognise on here.  I became an allotment holder last year, and I'm now a fully fledged allotment bore !!

I'm sure I'll be around here a lot more picking up lots of useful advice and tips !

Congratulations on coming out of the closet Andy...  ;D

Well, I bumped into an old friend today who I haven't seen for years.  Not only did I tell him everything I've planted in my plot this year, I also explained successional planting and crop rotation.

As his eyes glazed over, I thought I'd better stop talking...... ;D

I would point out that I don't actually care that I'm an allotment bore.  Being a 40 something gives me the right to do what I like when I like and if I bore the pants off people by talking about my allotment, so be it.... ;D ;D

There are alot more boring things than allotments. My OHhas an unlce who all he ever talks about is his scouting collection ;D Always funny at christmas family do's, seeing who is sat next to this uncle and how long it is before theireye glaze ;D ;D

Oh now I feel guilty ................. better pour him aonother glass of wine and toast him a hot cross bun....

Yours was one of the familiar names I spotted when I came back to the site.  I hope all is well with you.

Mrs FA & the kids are fine, thanks and so is work at the mo.  My job is moving 20-odd miles sometime this year but at least I still have a job.  For now !
