Hi all,
Been a member for a couple of years but only posted a couple of topics in the past.
Got back from 3 days working in the Channel Islands to be told that someome has nicked my shed sometime last night. Whoever it was tossed out the contents, thankfully only an old rake in there and other bits and bobs, and left them over mine and next door's plot. Our conditions on the site is that all sheds must be 6x4 and be painted green. Only 2 of us out of 20 odd sheds have(had) a window. To take mine they had to pass three other sheds. I have some suspicions but I'll keep them to myself for the time being until Mr Plod decides to come and see me. Some of the info I have doesn't add up. Without being paranoid, I think there may be some victimisation going on. Just waiting to see if any plant are attacked. We've had to start this attotment from scratch from a farmers field. Stared work on it last November and put a lot of back breaking hours into it as well as money.

That's awful, Brian. Hope they catch the b****rs and that it isn't an "inside job" if that's what you're suspecting.

Hi Caroline,
thanks for your reply. I have one or two suspicions. Couple of things don't add up. I shan't buy another shed. We don't live too far away. We can walk it if need be. Just take the car when we need to dig or drop off horse poo etc.

Just wanted to send you my best wishes Brian, we had the front wall of our shed smashed in so they could inside, they took out the tools and trashed the rest then threw tools all over the site ... 9 year olds!!! They were caught but nothing can be done!  >:( I hope you don't have further problems, good luck!

If they were caught you can do something about it! you can sue the responsible adult (parent)!
You couldn't make it up!

Bad news.Really sorry. >:(

I think it would have taken at least 4 adults to carry off the shed. It appears it was taken intact. It was screwed down onto heavy wooden pallets which must have been wrenched off with a crowbar. Certainly wasn't an oppotunist theft.

I have never heard of anyone having a whole shed taken before >:(
