Awwwwww, cheers guys  :D

Plane leaves tomorrow, last mad day at work, almost packed at home. Mr M isn't of course, will probably leave it till an hour before we leave.

Roy, if I see any tree ferns in their native habitat, I will try to take a photo.

BL, the sun seems so much harsher in Tasmania, so i will definitely lather on the sunscreen!  8)

EJ, might even try to bring back some local pumpkin seeds to help me start that pumpkin revolution!!  ;D

I will still have access to the net, and will try to check in every now and again. Will take loads of photos as usual, and some will end up on here of course  :)

Mum and dad said it was 28 on sunday, but today is a mere 18 celcius today. Got to be better than winter though  ;D 8)

Hi all, and thanks for your good wishes  ;D

We made it here fine after over a day in transit, probably close to 29 hours if you count check in, connections etc - yuk :-\

But so worth it  :) :) :) A lovely comfortable 20 degrees celcius or so here for the last couple of days, and that yellow stuff I'd forgotten about called SUN  8) Had to buy some sunglasses  8)

Hope to check here every now and again, but Dad only has a dialup and it's a bit slow.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE  :-*

Wow Moggle, :o it doesn't feel like you have gone away, this internet thingy really brings folk together, glad you had a good trip (long as it was) give your folk a cyber hug from us lot here :-* and Merry Christmas to all. 8) ;D

Moggle

Hi again all, just thought I'd post to let you know I haven't dropped off the planet yet.

Have had more lovely weather, but I won't taunt you any more with that.

Been in to several national parks, and seen lots of lovely shrubs and trees, have taken many photos with all you lot in mind, and especially for Roy, a whole glade full of tree ferns!  :D :D :D

Have drunk lots and lots of local wine, and even had a radical hairstyle change (style and colour), for the ridiculously cheap (in Oxford standards) price of 40 pounds (can't find the pound sign on my dads aussie keyboard! - there isn't one  :P)

Holiday has gone alarmingly fast, almost half our time here has gone! I will post all the photos when I get back to the UK in the new year.

Awwwh Moggle glad to hear you are enjoying yourself sending Cyber huggs to you all, :-* the weather here hasn't been too bad, it's nearly midnight now and we are having a comfortable 9.1°C here in Birmingham although it's been cloudy. 8)
Can't wait to see your holiday snaps, can't remember if I told you, I finally got my Lottie ;D
Enjoy the rest of your break and Merry Christmas to you all. ;D

eileen

Really pleased to hear you'r having such a great time Moggle. Like Roy I can hardly wait to see all your piccies.  ;D

That big, yellow ball in the sky peeped out here today, would you believe, but didn't stay for long. It's bitterly cold but still not a sign of a single snowflake. Maybe it's all being stored until you get back.  :P
