The snails in my garden don't seem to have noticed any of my greens yet, weird. But today, I did find my very first aphids, on the broad bean plants in my lean-to (which are starting to give me funny looks as I still haven't dug a bed for them... eeeep...)

The snails in my garden don't come back I throw them to the hens ;D

Eristic

I've not had any problem with slimies yet but I had to read the last rites to a mouse in the polytunnel.

I first read it the riot act and told it to disperse but it put two fingers up at me. I ordered it not to touch the spring roll on the staging and it defied me.

Ha ha. it's not called spring roll for nothing.  8)

I used to get very puzzled when I was about four, I'd throw all the snails along the garden wall over the other side, and they'd all be back next morning!

cheerfulness

I can't remember which gardening program it was that painted blue on their backs to see if they'd return after dumping them some distance away. The majority did!

My snails are dispatched with my foot and left on the path for the birds the next morning - no matter how many I kill in the evening there are never any left by breakfast!

My mum used to send us kids out to hunt snails and caterpillers and stomp on them - it was our favourite job! I couldnt bring myself to do that now though..
