Autumn colour

Even after a couple of very frosty morns, here in Essex there is still some fab colour!

- Achilea 'cerise queen'

- Can't for the life of me remember what this shrub is called...have sat here for ages wracking my poor tired brain....help!  ???

- little 3 year old cherry tree.  6 cherries this year!  ;D

-Medlar tree giving it's autumn show.

You are good at this Kerry, that is it!  Aqui, it seeds itself all over my garden, not that I mind.  I feared I had killed it once after I was a little to keen with the clippers, but it came back!  It gets about 6 foot tall, has clusters of insignificant white flowers in early summer, then late summer and autumn you are rewarded with these lovely plump berries and colourful foliage.  If you want one, I will see if I can find a baby and dig it up for ya.  ;D

I still have things like Penstemons, Verbena B. and gailardias in flower. Most of the trees around our way have lost their leaves now though.
