I have wanted a cigarette today, the feeling never goes away!!  ??? ??? ???

My incentive at the end of the week is an expensive plant for my garden :)

'Morning all! another smoke - free day?? hope everyone is resisting 'the craving' !!
It's anice day, so hope we can all get some gardening done today, should keep us occupied/distracted, and a self - satisfying reward of a nice cuppa with a slice of cake later!! ;) don't things taste so much nicer?? (or is tracie a good cook) ;D ;D

I was going to put my spuds in, but it decided to chuck it with rain :(.....and got really cold as well :(

A bit late on parade today but have just got home from a day out.

My best day yet, no cravings and only one mint humbug.

I know, I know I will make the most of  the memory of days like this.

When I first stopped I used to spend the money I had saved on plants. It's amazing how many plants you can buy instead of 2 x20 packets of cigs. the best thing the money went on was our little suzuki supercarry caravanette. The kids call it the passion wagon.lol

Another good day for me too.

I wish I had bought my cigarette's with cash as I don't notice the difference as such, just my credit card bills aren't so high.

one more day on the 10mg patches, start the 5mg ones on thursday. Actually looking forward to it?

I feel like you tony and can't wait to get to a lower patch I am going to ask on Thursday for the lower strength, mine goes down to 7mg.

A good day so far but have swapped to pear drops I must have had enough of mint humbugs  ;D

thought i would join in on your  support group   ;D its only been three days so far and not bothered at all yet am considering trying  to go cold turkey as have always failed in past with patches well lets see how long i last before im making a doctors appointment lol  ;D

welcome aboard N8R! go and see your g.p. for any help / advice they can give. the patches deffo help a lot!!

Hi N8R and welcome.  Like tony I think you should go and get some patches as it does take the  edge off the craving  a little bit.  But very well done going three days so far, maybe 4 now????

Saying that though, I was fine all day until late this afternoon and then the wanting of a cigarette, well not one but a whole packet was dreadful.  I have recovered at the moment but it did take me by surprise.  Wont be asking for the lower dosage patch tomorrow now.

Thanks saddad for your ongoing support.  I think star will come back and tell us she hasn't had a puff and has just been soooooooo busy.  Sure SBG is still going strong.  I have faith in them both, if not I am still by your side tony, so to speak  ;D  ;D  ;D

Forgot to put a patch on yesterday! got a bit 'ratty'at tea time so put the patch on then!!

No mate, Im still here. Have been up to see my mum. She's not well.

I was so pleased this morning and even had the 7mg patches prescribed, that's how confident I felt.  Yikes what false hopes I had of myself.

I have to say I have had a cigarette this afternoon.  I am stressed and depressed and I really don't care.  I don't feel guilty or bad.  Not sure where I will go from here as I know it is my choice and have learnt I am strong and the cigarette this afternoon was for no other reason than I wanted one, I didn't crave it.

I wont be online for a few weeks but I do wish everyone good luck and I do hope you all succeed, in fact you have to as there is NO excuse for me and tony really needs a partner to keep him company.

Don't beat yourself up,just because you had one does not mean you have to carry on smoking,just carry on as before. :)
