Hi Steve
I plan to plant Marigolds with the beans and tomatoes and chives and onions with the carrots and fruit trees.

we do basil and marigolds in with the tomatoes, nasturtiums around the cabbages, african marigolds wherever we can fin d a space  ;D
someone on here did a thread about companion planting, gives lots of ideas  ;D

I found marigolds deter the bugs but the nasturtiums attracted them to breed on instead of my plants?

Feverfew is great with carrots. Just rub the feverfew leaves when thinning out carrots and it disguises the carrot smell. No flies and no maggots.

Tagetes are also popular here in Denmark. People think tagetes protects carrots and onions.
