Allotments 4 All

Yippee!  We now have a second plot.  My in-laws occasionally share my plot as he looks after my hens when I work away.  After 18 months of waiting they now have one in their name so we have 2 between us now.  This second one is about 28x125ft; almost twice the size of the current plot; :o :o :o.   It has a small shed, 2 water butts, and a 6x12ft lean-to greenhouse .

Last week I managed to dig half of it. These are the 'before' piccies

This is the first year I've had more than one plot, I'm just learning how much more I need to sow and plan for....as well as clearing it! Good to have more space though, I can actually grow some maincrop potatoes this year, never had the room before! ;D

Looks like a good plot and it is a bit of a plus having a shed and greenhouse.

OOOhhh I am so jealous! :) I never thought I would say it but after my first year of having an allotment I would love a second plot  :o
I would love to have some space to grow more potatoes and squashes seed beds etc
