Aldi will be having their windowsill greenhouses in on Thurs 19th Feb.
At £2-13 they are a bargain. Got some last year and am definitely going to get some more. The plugs in them are just the right size.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

we bought a nectarine last year, good tree, still going, it had a couple of blossom on last year but got peach leaf curl  :-\
still, we're covering it now, keep the leaves dry and hope for nice weather  ;D

Just been to Aldi and they have the following trees for sale:

Apple: Elstar, Jonagold, Cox's Orange Pippin, Golden Delicious plus more varieties

Also Conference Pear

Very reasonably priced at £4.18 each. This is just a small selection and they had more.
Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground. Author unknown

If anyone hasn't got an Aldi nearby, but has a Poundstretcher, I saw the windowsill propagators there today for £2.49. Was tempted but they seemed a bit flimsy and I've got enough pots!

Got meself 4 more windowsill propagators. Thats all the windowsills in the house spoken for.

Both bought last year, you should not let them bear fruit it seems the first year and both are looking Very healthy this year, they grew well last, tiny buds on them, so ever hopeful.
