Allotments 4 All

ive only gone and ran out of timber for my raised beds. and bark for paths.

buit a riddle this afternoon. band q was 7 quid for tiny one so i made one my self.
plan to riddle soil in beds tomorow weather permitting.now i only need to join my water butts and im just waiting on spuds then.

Looking good though, how do you stop the foxes/cats/children scratting in that lovely soil?

What width are the boards? They look the right depth for me, sometimes people have really deep beds.

the boards vary between 5 and 7 inches. im going to have a look tomorow see if i can slvage some more.they a from big packing crates that were desighned for pipes i think

thanks kea. i had to move them today as when i first planned them they ran parralel with the slabbed path. but when i outlined my adjoining path they were all out. my two paths are at about.110 degrees so the beds are starting to fan out a bit.

yeah i got 100mtrs of ebay for 30 quid at the moment im cutting it into thirds so it looks like it will go for miles ;D
